JOHANNESBURG - Musicians on Thursday sent their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of kwaito artist Simphiwe ‘Brown Dash’ Mpamile.

Mpamile died on Wednesday at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto from an undisclosed illness.

Fellow musician Sandile ‘Mapaputsi’ Ngwenya said Brown Dash’s family had their full support.

“The family must not worry too much. We are still his brother and we will take care of his kids.”

Meanwhile, Sipho 'Brickz' Ndlovu, who worked closely with Brown Dash, said he will visit the late star’s family on Thursday afternoon.

“They need to be strong and pray.”
